Submission: when a person ideates that he and his body are only a channel for the Lord to do the Divine actions through them.

With this, there will be no "I" left and the person is free from egoistical attachment to the result of his actions because he is not the doer but He is. Then he will be free from any attachment, and that is the key to salvation.

Islam also means "submission" and this ideation of being submissive to the Lord is related to the fourth seal ( ) in The Greatest Sign.

SECOND LIFE (SL) VIRTUAL WORLD PROJECT

 This article is a news blog from CNN.com about events happening in Second Life.   This virtual world format is gaining more and more popularity in many different venues and the potential for Mission outreach is great.  Everyone please be sure to see the Temple now constructed and be welcome to give feedback.

 More properties have been purchased to expand the Mission land and we are looking towards building a Community Center that can host events for Mission activities.

The website is mostly done. We moved to an office in the city center and we now have more people coming in to see what we have to offer and ask questions. We had yoga, meditation classes and some counseling sessions with family members, some friends and relatives with no charge; but we have yet to get our first official guest or customer so that we can say that we now are in business :). It feels like the doors of a huge dam is closed and water is filling in and pretty soon the water will be allowed to go through the turbines and produce energy; but the water has not yet been released and still filling in. God knows the best!  Every other day He makes sure there is no doubt He is with us :)

PROJECT NEW JERUSALEM

This is still an on-going project.  It is amazing to see what God is doing in

 Rio Rancho, New Mexico – City of Vision

• Albuquerque is getting a new state of the art water treatment system.  Housing continues to grow and hold in the market. 
• Rio Rancho, New Mexico has surpassed Santa Fe in growth and is number 3 in the state. 
• The film industry is huge here with studios now locating in the area.  The latest is a shopping mall close by being turned into a new film company.   (Perhaps a movie about the Mission???)
• Santa Anna Star Center in the new city center attracts big names.  (Just imagine Satsang with Maitreya there!)
• A completely new downtown area is being designed with a new City Center and surrounding areas will include universities, hospitals, planned communities  (sound familiar?)
• Disasters in the USA and around the world of fires, earthquake, floods, etc. are clues for those who see this Vision to take seriously the warnings of God.  A  new environment is being created by God.
• It makes more and more sense to come where you know the Truth is and be a part of the building of New Jerusalem.

FULFILMENT PROJECT 

The Mission is also still looking for actual events or prophecies that any of the religions are expecting to occur to indicate the Messiah is here.  If you hear or discover something that is Scriptural and a legitimate prophecy or expectation of the coming of the Christ, please send to: fulfillment@maitreya.org    

Sometimes just asking people (especially in this holiday season) about how they expect the Messiah to come can reveal some clues and interesting conversation.  Of course many ideas are not based on Scripture and are basically popular myths/dogmas created by man.  Be sure to double-check them with Scripture or ask for verses. 

Recently in Paltalk someone from a Christian background was asked, “How would she know the Messiah?”.  The comment back was that she expected Him to be the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah”.  Evidence of this proof is on the website. 

Another Jewish brother listed many items from Old Testament, which the Messiah should fulfill.   One by one we showed him the Truth that the expectations were completely fulfilled by Maitreya and the Mission.

We do not hold our breath that they instantly see it; but they will never be the same!  Thanks God!  (Perhaps next lifetime…)

Mt. Zion and Mt. Carmel Project

This is a new project Maitreya just started.  We have been told that many consider the Zion National Park and Mt. Carmel area in Utah to be where the Messiah is supposed to appear.  It makes some sense, since if there is New Jerusalem that we have to find (which has already been done), there also might be New Mt. Zion and Mt. Carmel.  Although we consider the Hierarchy in our system to be the Mt. Zion, we also believe that there might be an external manifestation of whatever is from Heaven! 

So we are interested to know if anyone is familiar with other areas in the world that many people expect the Messiah to appear there at the end time (and/or according to them for the Second Coming, return of Mehdi, Kalki Avatar, etc.).  If you know of any place, please send the information you know to: Mt.Zion@maitreya.org
