Sal-Om all,
Have you thought deeply about tithing? Maybe
you have wondered, "What is the reason God demanded that we
tithe 10% of the income we are blessed with to His
Work?"
God knows what is best for us. It was/is He
that reveals to His Prophets what is written in
Malachi 3:8:
Will a man rob God? Yet ye
have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we
robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
It is God who demands that we tithe. His
Prophets just remind us of what God has demanded.
Tithing is the way God has instructed His people
to finance the work of His Prophets.
Maitreya (GIWH), the Prophet of God
(Messiah, Christ, Kalki Avatar, etc.) is now on
earth. He has fulfilled the
prophecies
that God gave whereby we should recognize that He is
the one expected by all religions to come with the
Plan of God for humanity.
This statement, included in every Newsbrief of
the Mission of Maitreya, answers
the question in the first paragraph: "We are
approaching the implementation phase. If you
want to see the Mission to
manifest, we need to create a culture of tithing in
the Mission where this is done by
everyone automatically as their second nature!
With the remaining 90% of your income, with some
diligence, you can live comfortably in the
COLs!"
We ask all of you to do your part. Everyone
should tithe.
The best way is for everyone to give tithes.
However, do not think for a moment that giving
anything you could is not important.
Any amount will help the Mission,
even $1. It is better for 500 people to give $10 each than
for 3 people to give $500 each. The
Mission surely is in need of financial help
to just keep up with the present expenses.
Another suggestion is: Every
time you come home, put your change in a jar. At the
end of the month, send what has accumulated in the jar
to the Mission to use. Or set
up
a monthly (recurring) donation for $1 or more.
It is easy to do such a thing from the
Mission's
donations page if you have a Paypal account or
credit card (other methods are also usable,
email the Mission if you need
help with how to donate through your method).
As Prophet Muhammad said: Just saying we believe
is not enough. We have to prove we really do
by our actions. Financial help is a very important part
of implementation of the Mission.
We Trust in God, but God also has shown us the way
of man. In this
world, financial well-being is a part of God's Way!
