Anyone can send in a report of their activities, outreach, etc. for the Mission.  These reports are posted in our Newsbrief.  Light Bridges (contacts) are expected to send in reports when they have something to share, and Light Bearers (contacts who are actively engaged in spreading the Mission) are expected to send in reports for every Newsbrief.  To send a report, email it to Mission_Of_Maitreya@maitreya.org. 

For a general idea of how to write a report, see the reports posted in past Newsbriefs (especially from May 2010 onwards).  Also, to make your reports effective and useful, the following guidelines should be followed:

• A report should only include new news, results, happenings, etc. in your area or outreach.  It should not include events that are recurring and expected (e.g. reading THOTH on Paltalk in the mornings every week) or that have already been mentioned in previous reports. 
   
• In general, reports should be as short and to the point as possible.  For example, if you are reporting that you have posted about the Mission on the internet, a copy of what was posted does not need to be included in your report.  Simply mentioning that you have posted something is enough. 
  
  Note: If you want to share extra information such as what you have posted, etc., include links to it instead of copying and pasting.  Another possibility is to create your own website, put all extra information there, and then link to your website in your reports.  Yet another way is to post a long, expanded version of your report on your website, and then send us an edited, shortened version for the Newsbrief.  The goal is to keep the report for the Newsbrief simple and specific, and put all non-essential information elsewhere.
