Conversations with Maitreya

Maitreya: Sal-Om everybody, welcome to the Mission of Maitreya, Eternal Divine Path.
We will start this session with remembering the Lord, the Most Compassionate, the Merciful, who has created man to progress toward Pure Consciousness and Oneness with God, to go back to heaven, the Unity, and all creation has come from the same Source, and all will return to the same Source. We are all from the same place and One.
Now God has sent this Revelation to man again to make it clear that we are from the same material and the same place, and we have to create an environment where everybody progresses toward unity with God in the fastest way possible. We have been sending these religions to humanity one by one, and now they are all unified as One Religion and One Truth, as One Path.
Therefore let us remember the priority in our lives and why we are here, and why God has created us all to be here on earth. If we realize that, then we can prioritize our lives and put the Goal of the Life, which is to Be(come) Divine, first in our lives and everything else in their places and make our lives Godly. Therefore, our lives become worthful and worthy of being here and the opportunities that have been given to us to progress to where the whole creation was created for.
Not only should we work on ourselves, but also work on humanity and let humanity know that we are from the same material, from the same Source, and also help them to put their lives on the correct base, and that is God and His Way, and the goal of their lives also is to become One with God.
This is the healing Teaching, the healing Power of God that has come this time to heal the whole earth, each individual, and humanity, and each man and woman has to work on their egos and realize that any fame, name, all those things that the ego craves, will not take you to God. But following the Eternal Divine Path, will.
So meditate on your life to see, is it really based on the Eternal Divine Path, or it is not? Am I really meditating? Am I really trying to know myself? Am I truly working to progress and get rid of my ego? Or am I still hanging onto my ego, getting hurt, trying to hurt, getting back, and doing all the things that ego does and eventually brings destruction to each individual, the communities, the nations, and eventually the earth.
Man’s ego is strong, it is powerful. It is very tricky, and the sooner we start looking at it, realizing it, and knowing it, the sooner we can forget about the demand of ego but follow the demand of God, which is humility, Oneness, and the Eternal Divine Path and whatever we are taught here in the Mission. This is the greater healing than healing individuals. It is to heal the whole earth, the whole humanity, which includes individuals.
As Christ said, if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you will be doing even greater things than any Prophet has done. Therefore, again take this Message to every man and woman, and let them know that this is the healing of man and the Revelation of God this time does not heal individuals but heals nations, heals communities, and heals the whole earth.
Of course, if you have any questions, do not wait for me to finish the “lecture” or anything. Go ahead and raise your hand, and as the room title says, this is a Conversation Room. You can go ahead and ask questions if you have any. If you do not, then we will go ahead and talk about the Mission.
So we can see that people who are asking if we heal a person, yes, we do. Actually the way to heal an individual person has been given. The way to overcome the ego is given. If we hang onto our egos and still have a lot of desires, attachments, and longing in ourselves, then we cannot go ahead and overcome those desires which really are not good for us.
Why do you want to have all those longings and wanting to … it is amazing how ego wants to be someone, wants to do something, to be recognized. The more the ego craves for those things, the less it gets it, but the more we become Godly, the more we come into the presence of God. So we can all work on ourselves. That is where everything begins.
Everything begins with us. Everything begins where we squarely take ourselves. That is the greatest challenge that anybody can put in front of anybody else. And that challenge, of course, is what most humans do not want to take. But if you take it and you face yourself, of course, you can progress toward God because knowing thyself is similar to God.

Bring your energy to a higher level so you may enjoy life in a greater degree and free yourself from the suffering of longing and desiring everything and trying to forget about God in your life.
You and God are One. There is the same Source and from the same place.
The Mission of Maitreya, Eternal Divine Path unifies all the religions of the world and brings a Path. The Mission is not a religion in the sense of believing in a set of dogmas and then that is it, “You go to heaven.”
That is never going to happen. Believing in a set of dogmas, a set of beliefs, will never take you to God, but following the Eternal Divine Path will. In one of our PalTalk rooms, someone came and said, “If the Guru says, just drop your ego, and that is all you have to do.” But it is easier said than done. “You just believe you are god, and then you are god.”
You are not. It will not be happening. Yes, that is true, the goal is to drop the ego. But how it is done, is the Eternal Divine Path. “OK, I decided today that I drop my ego and reach Pure Consciousness.” How many people have been doing that for thousands of years, and they are still having their egos intact with them?
The Eternal Divine Path is the Path to achieve what they have simplified as, “Just drop it.” OK, fine. Let us all decide today that we are going to drop our egos right now and we will see how many people are going to reach Pure Consciousness. Probably if you were able to do that the whole PalTalk would fall apart, or all these people in this room would fall off this room because you would not be in your bodies. You would go to God right away.
If it was that easy, God did not have to send Prophets, Scriptures, and send revelations for 12,000 years, and then say, Yes, this is the way to follow the Eternal Divine Path, meditate to know yourself, create the Communities and environment that not only you can meditate but everyone can meditate, then sacrifice for It, OK. If you have abilities, it is a sacrifice. For your ego, it is not. It is always thinking, “What is it in for my ego in these things? I have to get something out of it.” It is very hard for you to sacrifice.
Not only that, but you also have to forget about the fruit or the result of your actions, surrender to God and become submissive to only Him. “No, who wants to do that?” The ego wants to be in this world. The ego wants to receive the glory of, “What I have accomplished and everybody should praise what I have done,” and that longing and craving is there.
“I did not do anything. I am not giving any Satsang or write THOTH, I did not do anything. I am absolutely a channel for God, and He is coming through me. Whatever I have done, at least I meditate on it for a long time to make it His Will, not my will, to be done.”
As we said, that is what submission is. Submission means the Will of God is greater than my own will. As long as “I have my own will and I crave to be recognized as that ego that I have identified myself with, I am not one with God. It is my will but not God’s Will, and I fight it. It is possible to keep and hold in that personality, in that ego, in that craving, in those wants and desires.”
And then you see the world is unhappy, it is dangerous, there are wars, destruction, because each ego is holding onto their own little ways and they do not want to let go and let God to come through. Then they say, “Yes, we have to create an environment where everybody can meditate and become One. We can create an earth where every child can progress physically, mentally, and spiritually, and we can teach them to follow the Eternal Divine Path from the very beginning of their lives.
When they are young and adults, it will be very easy for them to meditate, to be concerned for the Community, to be able to sacrifice for It, to surrender and submit to the Will of God and let Him come through them, and become a Universalist, absolutely shattering every narrowness of the mind and expand themselves.
That is how you drop the ego. That is how you get rid of the ego. As long as you are not following the Eternal Divine Path, it is not going to happen. It is not … spirituality is not the Guru’s teaching, of, “Do not worry about it, just meditate, you are going to be OK.”
They have been doing that for thousands of years, and it has not been OK, and even the source of this teaching, which is India, is a miserable place with disease and poverty and death and the destruction still exists. If it was working, that whole country should be in seventh heaven, in Pure Consciousness. And we can see that one billion people are not there at all. So it was not working. It is not how you “drop the ego.” The concept is correct. The approach is wrong.
The approach is the Eternal Divine Path. I know, it is hard. The Eternal Divine Path is not an easy Path. But who said going to God is an easy thing to do? You have to follow the Eternal Divine Path, that is the greater good. And, you have to overcome ego, and if you are not following the Eternal Divine Path, you cannot drop the ego.
Therefore, all those Gurus in India who say, “Drop the ego,” “Drop the ego,” “Drop the ego,” they should be taught, “How to do it?” It is easy spoken than done.
So, here is the healing power to humanity. This is the Teaching for every individual to follow, every man and woman, to take it and teach it to other people, and follow it themselves. But teach it to other people at the same time. Create the Communities of Light, create the Kingdom Of Heaven Within (KOHW) and on Earth (KOHOE) so we can bring the Heaven to humanity.
This is the Mission of Maitreya, Eternal Divine Path. This is Maitreya, who is revealing to you the most complete Revelation to humanity. It is a Call to every man and woman to come, to see, to study, to educate themselves, to come here and ask questions about our Teaching, and let us realize that we have the truth for humanity. We have the healing power for them. We are the Way to Salvation.
And let us not forget our duties to God and why we are here. [reading text]
Question [text]: What is the source of the ego? Does it come from the fact that we are created in the image and have the innate nature to believe that we are god?
Maitreya: Now, if you study our teaching [www.maitreya.org], you will see that before creation there was chaos. Therefore we have not been created in the image of God. Our Essence is in the image of God, but not our ego. God does not have any ego and that is why there was the darkness on the deep.
And God said, “Let there be light.” It means there was no light. There was darkness, there was chaos, there was separation, there was something wrong in the universe, and God did not like it. God wanted to help that darkness return to Light. That is why He projected Himself into the universe, went through the darkness, established the Eternal Divine Path, and there was Light. And God saw and said, That Light is good.
That is how you help that darkness come back to God. That darkness thinks that he is God, because he does have the essence of God in him, but because of that illusion of separation from God, he does not exactly know that he and God are One. [reading text]
Question [text]: Is it the effect of the tama guna on the consciousness?
Maitreya: Yes, that is right. That is because our consciousness gets crudified, and therefore we feel separated from God. Actually it is the effect of all the three gunas, but tama guna is the last effect.
It is just like the moment the consciousness came out of the state of equilibrium, the first feeling was, “I know.” The “I” started right there with satva guna. The first feeling was, “I know,” the “I know, I am perfect from God. I am different than God. I am disconnected from the Source. I know.”
Then, “I do,” the effect of the raja guna was “I do.” And of course, the third level, the effect of the tama guna was, “I have done,” or memory was created.
Therefore that “I” which is raja guna affecting God’s level, raja is under the influence of tama, that is why the feeling of “I know” is created and when that feeling is created, of course, the first sign of separation starts.
So how many people say, “I know better than everyone else what is right and what is wrong.” Or, in the garden of Eden, what did Adam and Eve say? They said, “We don’t have to listen to God. We know what is good for us. We know the good and evil. We do not have to listen to what God is telling us is good and evil.” We can understand it ourselves, and therefore, “I know.”
That is exactly what they were saying, “I know. I know better than God what is good for me.” That is what they say to themselves, and they no longer submit themselves, to be submissive and surrendered to God. And that is when the Grace was taken away and they say, the whole story of being thrown out of the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden was being in Grace, and when you are not in the Grace, you are in hell.
Therefore we can see that the whole three gunas are at work in creating ego and of course, the reason is because tama guna is present and makes “I-knowness.” When you are surrendered and submissive to God, so “I know” is the knowness of God, what is correct, what is Godly, you understand as Godliness, as the nature, how did God create the things in nature, and how they work, and how they can become Godly, and why God created the things the way He did.
So, you follow the nature of things as they were created by God and therefore you are following God’s Will and why things were created by God the way they are. But when you lose that, you no longer follow God’s Way. You follow your way, you say, “No, I am not going to look at the nature of things but what I want to do with whatever is in the universe.”
That is separation. That is again not being in the Grace and the Will of God. So, the effect of the tama guna is the reason for self-centeredness and separation from God but the base of it is, “I know,” it means, “I know differently than the Essence. I have my separate ego from the Essence. I am not going to listen to the Essence, which shows me the nature of the things in the universe. I am going to make the universe according to my understanding.
That is where we reject God’s Way. We decide and we create our own way, that is why we have different cultures and different ways of seeing things, looking at things. If everybody had looked at everything according to God and His creation, we would not have had any problem. Because there is only One Way. All of us would have found God and followed His Way.
But we have created our own culture, our own understanding, our own feeling, our own upbringing the way they told us is the correct way to do it. And now, of course, anything that is Godly is not good, because it is not according to our understanding, according to our intellectual realization, instead of God’s Way of how things should be created and be done.
When you say something Godly, it actually seems very strange to a lot of people, “Why do you say that?” They do not want to listen to God or that is not politically correct. “You have to be in the culture and in our environment and follow those things that have been taught to us, without listening to God.”
Even religion, the way they created many branches and many different sects, because they thought that their feeling and understanding is better than the Prophet Himself. And they do not listen to the Prophet anymore but they listen to their own understanding and their separate egos which created dogmas in different religions.
It we all go to the original Words of the Prophets, there should not be any branches or sects or separation. Again, the words, “I know, I know better than the Prophet. I know better than the revealed Word of God,” and they again create branches and separation and all that.
So ego is the problem. Ego is the essence of all the separation and destruction on earth, and that was not created by God. That is the only thing that was not created by God, and it is not a part of the Essence. The Essence does not have ego. It is not something that, because you are in the image of God, therefore we have ego.
No, you are in the image of God in Essence. Ego is the only thing that has not been created by God. It is actually an illusion, a big illusion that man falls into and that is why it is called Maya. Maya is the illusion of separation from God. Therefore, it is not something that we have no choice on that.
“We are in the image of God, so we are god, we are big, and we are great. We are wonderful and everybody should listen to me and do whatever I want, because I am god.” And that is knowing God from ignorance.
Knowing God from knowledge is, “I cannot be god as long as I have the ego. Yes, my Essence is god, my Essence is one with God, but my ego is separate from God and I cannot be God.”
So that is the wrong teaching. That is what a lot of people hear for the first time, and it feels so good, “Yes, everything is god and therefore I am god. I do not need God anymore, for I am God myself.”
If that was true, then we do not need any Scripture, we do not need any prophecies, we do not need any Prophets, we are God already ourselves.” And that is exactly what Adam and Eve felt, and look what happened to them. Where did that get them? They said, “We know better than God. If we eat of the knowledge of good and evil, we are God ourselves.”
And then they were out of Grace by doing that. Therefore God sent them … [reading text]
Comment [text]: It is only correct when you and God’s Essence are One.
Maitreya: As you have ego, as you are separate from God, you are in the delusion of separation and you have ego and you will bring destruction to yourself and everyone else.
Again, welcome to the Mission of Maitreya, Eternal Divine Path Conversation Room. Again if you have a question about the Mission, I hope those who are in the Mission or have gone to the website and studied our Teaching in a greater degree are here. Our Teaching basically opens the Seven Seals and brings a Revelation which is the Seven Seals and the Book that was prophesied to come at the end time, and now it has.
Therefore we are on the brink of the coming of a great purification of humanity, and those who really want to be purified and to be reincarnated for the next thousand years, that is the blueprint of how it can be done. The Holiest Of The Holies (THOTH), The Last Testament is that blueprint and it teaches that there was chaos before creation and that chaos was the ego separated as a part of the Essence, just like a diseased body.
God has been trying to heal Himself and return to complete health as before that darkness on the deep. And that is why He has been trying and working and sending Revelations, Prophets, Words to humanity and calling them back to God. Going back to God, the only Way is His Words, not just reading them, not just giving them to other people with the big egos to see “how much I know about these readings,” but if you taught with your ego present, ego will not take you to God. It will take you away from God, and now this Revelation has come to unify all religions together.
This is the Call to those who truly have been working on themselves to return to God and to be a part of the coming of a great Golden Age for humanity. There will be people in the Communities of Light who meditate, they awaken their spiritual forces, they will be concerned for the Community, not only for “me, me, me,” but for “us, us, us, and God.” And then they sacrifice.
They defer their egos, and they become surrendered and submissive to God and become Universalists. They shatter all narrowness of the mind and all the faults in the spiritual path, and eventually their ego is no more or at least not as big as it usually is. Therefore they become a channel for God and His Will, and they understand that. [reading text]
Comment [text]: Prophet Muhammad brought miraculous verses in the Koran. That is why there is no doubt that it is a revelation from God.
Maitreya: Actually if you study THOTH, THOTH also has a rhythmic sound and you cannot reproduce the words that have been revealed in THOTH. Also the Koran had it before Bab was able to create very similar verses in the Bayan. Therefore the Koran is no longer unmatched in its style. The comment is about the message and style of the Koran, and the “superior” reason in it are definite evidence that it is the Word of God.
“Prophet Muhammad brought miraculous verses in the Koran.,” well, that is no longer true, because Bab brought the same kind of “miraculous verses” to humanity and that no longer exists, and it is finished.
If you study our Teaching and understand the Plan of God, you will realize that the Koran and Islam are the Fourth Revelation of God, not the last. It is explained very clearly that Islam is not the only way. It is not the last Word of God and that has been explained very clearly in our website, so go there.
Also it is very rude to go to someone else’s PalTalk room and post your website in their room. If you want to propagate Islam in a greater degree in a very strict way, start your own room and let the people judge if what you say is the truth, not shove it in their faces. And that is when the religion shows that it no longer has the truth and the depth of the original Founder, and that is why you have to either shout it in people’s faces or you have to take the sword and make them follow what you say.
But the truth has to seek people’s Spirit and Soul, and then they will accept it or not. Therefore, understand the depth of the truth of your religion. Islam is a great religion, it has come from God and we do accept that and we know that. You do not have to tell us it is from God. We know it is from God.
But the Plan of God has continued three more revelations after Islam until the Seventh Angel and the opening of the Seven Seals. Therefore, do not be dogmatic, do not push your truth on other people with force, but let your light shine and your light attract those who are interested in the truth of Islam. You do not have to push it. Islam is a great religion, it has a lot of truth in it, and it should stand on its own truth. There is another question from Sanya. [reading text]
Sanya [text]: Is there going to be an earth shift where some cities will go under water?
Maitreya: There will be many, many things happening on earth. What exactly is going to happen only belongs to God, and the predictions of the future are only what God knows how it is going to happen. Even knowing how it is going to happen is not going to help us that much.
One thing is for sure that this area, New Mexico, has been designed and designated to be a very safe place to be at. That is why God has sent this Revelation here in this area on earth, and He actually prophesied hundreds of years ago that His Revelation will come in this city, in this area. Of course, the city that the Revelation has come to has been created only in the last 40-50 years. There was not such as city at all, it did not even exist, when the revelation came that the Revelation would come to this area.
So if you go to the prophecies in our website, you can clearly see that God actually foretold that this Revelation would come in this area. He predicted, and it came, we cannot assume with certainty but God will protect this area in a greater degree and we are going to be safe. Move down here to this area.
What is going to happen in other places? We leave it to God and we just follow what God has revealed to us, and that is as far as we really know. There have been shifts in the poles, it has been studied, and they realized that this really many times the poles in the earth have been flipped up and down and shifted the poles. So it is can happen again.
Of course, when it happens, that will come with a great force and the oceans are probably going to be overrun in many places. There can be a lot of other kinds of destructions that also will come to the earth, and another kind of destruction are the wars and the things we see are happening right here on earth. We will see that it is going to happen in a greater degree, so we will be going through an amazing period in human history.
The way out again is the Eternal Divine Path, THOTH, this Revelation of the Seven Seals, which was prophesied to come and after this Revelation, is when Babylon the Great will fall.
So, not only are we working with individual egos, but we are also working with the collective ego on earth at the same time. So God is working very hard to get this Mission established, but of course, man is stubborn and they have big egos and they do not want to completely follow it because it is hard.
It is easier to follow a Guru who says, “Drop your ego and you are going to be OK. Do not worry about it, just meditate,” and then somebody comes and says, “No, follow the Eternal Divine Path, awaken your spiritual forces, create the Communities of Light, sacrifice for It.”
Who wants to sacrifice? “I want my own little apartment. I want my own little things. I want to do what I want to do, and therefore I will not follow God’s Will for me. I will follow what I want to do.” So we can see that God is working with the egos, which are great and powerful, and they will follow the little teachings, “Just believe in this name, and you are going to be saved,” “Just drop your ego and you will go to heaven.”
But sacrifice? “No, I do not want to sacrifice.” So that is why we are calling the Elects, those want to sacrifice, who want to surrender and submit to God. That is why people are not joining this because it is hard. It is easier to make a religion to a couple of dogmas and follow them and believe that you are saved. But you are not.
They cannot drop the ego. It is not that easy. Dropping the ego is not that easy. You cannot just say, “OK, I will drop my ego today and I am in Pure Consciousness,” and half an hour from now, ask him, “You said 15 minutes ago that you dropped the ego and now you are still here. What happened?”
If it was that easy, you would have been in Pure Consciousness with God, but you are not. You are here because you love your ego, which is OK, we probably need a little ego to be able to get the things done on earth.
So we can see that following a simplified teaching … in every religion they made it simple, because the original teaching was hard to follow. It is like what Hindus say, “Just like a drop of water, drop into the ocean and you are going to become one with God.” Or, Buddhists say, “Just follow the Eight-Fold Path,” and Jews say, “We are the chosen people. We do not have to do anything. We are the chosen people, we are the only people who are going to be saved.” And Christians say, “Just believe in the name of Christ …,” even though they do not know the correct name, “… and you are going to be saved.” And the Moslems say, “Yes, we have the last word, although we do not follow it. We follow our history and our preachers.”
They do not follow Prophet Muhammad, “But we have the last word.” And of course, the Baha’is say, “We have to create worldwide justice and nobody is going to come for 1,000 years,” which is not Scriptural at all. [reading text]
Still Bliss [text]: Does the Maitreya have new teachings or a review of the old teachings, because I know much about the other teachings? Give us the new teachings.
Maitreya: Well, we invite you to just go to our website, Still Bliss, and find out for yourself. This is the Teaching that, at least, has not been on earth for the last 12,000 years. It is the Seven Seals are opened and all religions of the world are unified. If you know so much about other teachings, you can tell us. You can just come up and tell us what you know. [reading text]
Still Bliss [text]: I have been to the website a year ago but is there anything new on the site?
Maitreya: No, basically the site gives you the Eternal Divine Path. If you have studied our Teaching and you have been there a year ago, you should have known that the Teaching is new. I do not know if maybe you just went there and then went out without spending time there and have gone to The Holiest Of The Holies, THOTH, The Last Testament and have read it and understood the Seven Seals and the Eternal Divine Path. If you had, you would have known that this is a new Teaching. [reading text]
Yes, that is the problem. Probably you were there for a very brief time. That is not enough. You can spend many lifetimes in that website and still can probably spend a couple of more lifetimes to see exactly the depth of it. [reading text]
Question [text]: How much time should I spend there?
Maitreya: Well, as I said, it depends on how deeply you want to go. Essentially you can probably go to our literature and go to The Holiest Of The Holies, THOTH, The Last Testament and probably study that Book on the website if you want to. It is all there for you to look at it and see the depth of the Teaching. Basically the Teaching says that God has been sending this Revelation to humanity for the last 12,000 years.
He has sent all the religions of the world, the Mystical Paths, which includes Hinduism, Buddhism, Cabala, … [reading text]
Question [text]: Can a person meditate and see the nature of the mind?
Maitreya: Well, that sounds pretty much like the Buddhist Teaching, and, of course, Buddha’s Teaching was not put down on paper until 500 years after he left his body. He had given the teaching for years and there were 100,000 volumes of the teaching that he gave, and eventually they made it into this small instruction that if a person meditates, he realizes the nature of the mind.
It is just like saying that a person who wants to get a doctorate in chemistry, can he just go to the library and study it by himself and find out everything? Yes, he can, it is possible that you might do it by yourself but God has sent Revelations and Prophets to give the blueprint of how to know the nature of the mind.
The nature of the mind is that it separates itself from God. It says, “I know, I do, and I have done.” That is the nature of the mind. The nature of the mind likes to be God itself. That is the nature of the mind.
The text is going very fast, so I cannot keep up with everything that is said there. But basically that sounds like the eventual conclusion of the Buddhist teaching of what is the nature of the mind. A lot of people and Buddhists have been trying to know the nature of the mind for the last 2,500 years, and how many people know the nature of the mind? And also, Buddha himself and the Buddhists are waiting for Maitreya to come at the time of 2,500 years after Buddha.
It is clearly again explained in our website that this Teaching will help the Buddhists to understand the nature of the mind in a greater degree and overcome the ego which is created by the mind. The mind says, “I am separated from God. I am god myself. I am the doer. I am the knower. I am the remembrance of what I have done.” That is the nature of the mind.
As long as that “I” exists as the doer, knower, and done, it separates itself from the Essence and therefore will create all kinds of problems for humanity. So if you want to understand the nature of the mind, then go and study our Teaching and understand the depth of this Teaching and how the mind works. That will help you in a greater degree to reach Pure Consciousness. [reading text]
Question [text]: But is it true that any action from the mind itself is self-preservation, whether it is with meditation, service, study, or anything?
Maitreya: Well, that is the nature of man. The true nature of man is the Essence which is One with the universe, and that Essence does not need to be preserved because it existed, it exists, and it will exist forever.
Actually ego is the reason we feel we need to preserve it. That is why the Teaching has come to this point that “the nature of the mind is self-preservation.” That is not really the nature of the mind. That is the nature of the ego.
Ego is actually a problem itself. That is the human connection with the illusion. That is why we are here to overcome the illusion of the mind. [reading text]
Comment [text]: Most of the human’s behavior, wants, and needs are simply reactions. That is true nature of ego.
Maitreya: OK, well, the whole Teaching of the Mission is to get rid of ego, become One with the Essence. Why do you want to spend your time knowing about something that separates you from God and is in illusion already, than following the Eternal Divine Path which overcomes, to become One with the Essence?
So, the nature of the mind is ego, that is true. Everything that you said is related to ego, and that is the whole problem. That is the nature of illusion. And why do you want to work on the illusion when the truth is the Essence which is beyond ego?
So you do not want to study the nature of the mind. You want to become One with the Essence. You do not want to try to explain how to go to God, but experience God directly. This is a very intellectual way of trying to describe something that you are trying to get rid of it. [reading text]
Comment [text]: Sometimes when I come in here during the week I see people who are as egoistical as I am.
Maitreya: Sure. Well, if they did not have any ego, they would not be in the body, and we have not had the people who have overcome the ego completely yet. Actually we are struggling with it even now in the Mission ourselves, and there is no claim here that the people who are in the Mission are egoless.
Actually, according to our Teaching, it is going to take even the Elects 1,000 years before they have overcome their ego completely when they start following the Eternal Divine Path. Actually very few people even at this time are following the Eternal Divine Path completely, and we have not reached many people who are complete Elects who come and say, “Yes, I understand it, I love it, I want to be with it,” and then dedicate and give everything away from the ego to God. Question [text]: Would you agree that it is not black and white, meaning it is a gradient that requires a transformation? Of course, I have ego.
Maitreya: Sure, OK. Actually it is a gradient. It is not something that is black and white. A lot of people have ego, and some people have less ego, some people have more ego. Some people have progressed to a point that their ego can be controlled much easier. [reading text]
Comment [text]: That is what I do not understand, ego is ego.
Maitreya: Well, ego is the influence of the tama guna over the Soul, and it separates the man from the Essence. It is an illusion. It is Maya.
Comment [text]: Ego is separation.
Maitreya: Exactly. You separate because you have ego. Ego is like an umbrella that you have over your head. OK, it can be a large umbrella and it does not let any water come in, or it can be a smaller umbrella but it still blocks completely 100% of the Grace but allows some of the warmness to come in. [reading text]
Comment [text]: Ego is separation or not?
Maitreya: No, it is not completely correct, because the people who have a little ego might have a moment of the Unity and then they lose it because ego comes in. A person who has a big, huge ego has no understanding of the Oneness with the Essence at all, actually they absolutely feel they are their bodies. They have no connection with God.
That is when the explanation of the chakras comes in. What chakra are you in? If you are completely in the first chakra, the only things that are important to you are your physiological and safety needs. That is all you care about, as long as, you know, the birds come from somewhere, then your physiological and safety needs are taken care of.
If you are in the second chakra, you are looking for a partner or have sexual desires, or thirst and hunger, and talking and drinking, and this and that. It just absolutely … buying a red sports car, etc., so you can satisfy your second chakra.
If you are in your third chakra, you want to become a politician and gain power or dominate, and all that.
If you are in your fourth chakra, you say, “I have unconditional Love.”
You see, there is a of degree in the people that they think they are connected to God or not. [reading text]
Question [text]: So any insight into Pure Consciousness is, ego is less?
Maitreya: Yes, that can make sense. [reading text]
Comment [text]: OK, let me start over, please. So if I meditate and watch the nature of my ego, thoughts, and I see my heart becoming impersonal, what is happening to the nature of the mind at that time?
Maitreya: OK, probably you are disconnecting yourself from your thoughts and you are feeling disconnected from God. Probably you are closer to the Essence. In the process of meditation we teach here, do not let the thoughts take you away from your Essence.
Anytime the thought takes you away, gently stop thinking and bring your mind back to your mantra and see the calmness of your mind and eventually, if you can still your mind, your mind becomes a clear lake that reflects the Essence of God. One day you suddenly become very clear that you absolutely understand, it is absolutely unmistakable, that you and God are One.
Actually you do not exist but God is the only thing that exists and you are One. That is the experience of Pure Consciousness in the body but it does not last very long. It lasts for probably a second or at most a couple of minutes. [reading text]
Bliss [text]: I think what he is saying is good.
Maitreya: [smiles] Thank you, Mr. Bliss. [reading text]
Bliss [text]: I guess you have a lot of truth here in this Mission that will amazingly help humanity. Sorry for the misspelling.
Maitreya: It is alright. We understand. You are typing fast and everybody makes those mistakes when they type pretty fast.
That is the goal, to reach a point to go beyond mind. As long as you are thinking and trying to figure it out, you are trying to explain it, it is mind. It is still the ego you know. You are trying to explain God. How many people have been trying to explain God for thousands of years and nobody has really succeeded to explain what God is? That is because, you are trying to explain something that is beyond mind, and that does not work.
It is impossible, it is just like a fish trying to explain how does it feel to exist like a human. It is impossible for a fish to do that, first of all it does not have hands to write. Even if it could, it could not imagine what human life is. So we can see that we are trying to understand something that is beyond our mind and ego.
The only way to do that is through meditation, prayer, service, Satsang, and wrapping yourself into the Eternal Divine Path. [reading text]
Question [text]: Maitreya, I am in the medical field and not impressed by how I am being taught how to treat patients.
Maitreya: Well, that is one of the areas that absolutely people have gone wrong. Someone was telling me this week that actually there is a book called God’s Diet and it basically says that whatever God created is good. Whatever man made of the food, after that, is not God’s diet. Like potatoes are good, because God created them, but after you make the potato chips, they are no longer good for you because when you make the potato chips they are full of fat and salt. So they are not good for you. The best way to eat the potato is the natural way it was created.
Another way is the food that has been grown in the area you are living in, is the best for the people who live in that area, because it is according to the environment and it is more effective in creating health, so bringing food from all over the world and eating it, is probably also affecting you.
Another way, there is a part in THOTH that you can read, “Prerequisites of Spiritual Life.” It teaches how you can become healthy, what is important and necessary for a body to stay healthy, you know, sunshine, exercise, innercize, food, prana, fresh air, and all that, which are lacking in many places because our air is getting polluted, and all that.
Also, to heal yourself, to learn how to heal the body, and when you heal yourself, you understand in a greater degree how to do this. [reading text]
Question [text]: Were you enlightened when you were born?
Maitreya: [laughs] I was a different kind of child. I was probably a little more meditative.
But in general, about your other question, there is more that has to be done about how people can heal themselves and how medical professions can heal them. They have progressed a lot. They have found a lot of wonderful medicine that helps a lot of people but still they have side effects and they are not pure.
The human should not become as much sick as they are becoming now. If they learn how to heal themselves and create an environment that they can receive proper nutrition and what God has created for them, it is going to be much easier than what we have now. [reading text]
Comment [text]: I think it is our own responsibility to be healthy.
Maitreya: Exactly. That is the first step. Each person has to learn how to heal themselves. That is another part of the Mission, that we teach how to meditate, how to do yoga exercises, breathing, good food, good environment, and also how the food is prepared. If the food is prepared with Love and devotion, and for the whole Community, and created in a loving environment where everyone loves to be together in that environment, that food is much more effective in bringing greater health.
So it is a slew of the things that has to be done before humanity really can become healthy in a way that their body stays alive for hundreds of years. As we can see in the Bible, it clearly says that man lived for around 1,000 years before the flood of Noah. So why not go back? Why are we not there? It is because the earth is not the same environment as it was back then.
So, just imagine how much you progressed in 1,000 years and your spiritual progress if you can live that long. [reading text]
Comment [text]: I think it is only temporary but not a cure. So hoping to find a more natural way to promote health for the diseases.
Maitreya: That is good if you want to do that. Again read our Teachings and probably understand in a deeper level how the health can come. [reading text]
Comment [text]: Maitreya, I am so sorry for being so forward, I am curious, during your free leisure time, do you watch TV, listen to the radio, etc.? Because I feel guilty when I watch TV at the time.
Maitreya: Well, it is not recommended to watch too much television or listen to too much radio and things like that, but sometimes they have good information. I watch the news on the TV, I sometimes watch some programs that I like. But I do not watch it like some people who watch it for hours and hours of the day. I try to be selective, and also you have to be a very strong-minded person to watch television these days and not to be affected by it, because there is so much nudity and pulls in the television that might affect a weak-minded person to fall into the Maya in a greater degree.
That is why what I do not recommend, exactly, to watch television or listen to the radio because they tell you that you have to buy this, you have to buy that, you have to be here, you have to do that. Otherwise you are not going to be happy. None of those advertisements or the things they say you need will take to God!
That is absolutely out of the picture. God is not there. There is nothing that teaches, The Goal of the Life is to Be(come) Divine. The whole thing is, the goal of the life is to buy this, to buy that, to go here, to go there, you know, you will be happy if you have this kind of car and go to this place and this and that. So, we can see that it is destructive to the weak-minded so the best way is to select the programs that are wholesome and for news about what is happening around the world.
I like the BBC World News because it gives a little more information about the things happening in the world. So yes, I do watch television, but not much. Be very selective, and also, know how they affect you. How is the effect of the television and radio or what you watch and see, do things to you. Go ahead, Shirin.
Shirin: Sal-Om Maitreya. I am following up on a question from earlier today where it was asked in text about disasters that are coming to the earth and that sort of thing. Then it makes me think, and also reflect, what you say about television. When you turn on any of the Christian channels, you see the views of the expectations of destruction and Armageddon is coming. And those expectations are of a huge battle that is coming.
But, in reading Revelation of The Revelation in THOTH in Tablet 27 it says, “The battle will be in Armageddon, which means world.” I am just trying to understand this better in my mind. Does that mean that really Armageddon has been fought since creation? It is more intense now, and it has this final battle, but it has been fighting all along between Maya and the Laws of God.
So people are looking at Armageddon as something to come, and yet we are in the middle of it right now, and people are not even realizing it. Is that anywhere near accurate?
Maitreya: Yes, it is very accurate. You have to remember that the fight between good and evil started from the very beginning of creation as you just said. In the beginning, there was a darkness in the deep. It means that the Light followed darkness.
There was a fight and a struggle that started right there in the very beginning. It continued all the way to this point. God has been sending this Revelation one-by-one to humanity. Many of us have been meditating and awakening our spiritual forces and progressing spiritually for many lifetimes.
We have come to this point that God said that the Seventh Angel will come and open the Seven Seals, and it is after that, that it is done. We are in that period of the history of the human, and we are going toward the final battle as you mentioned, and that will come. That battle, of course, is the one that might happen in this lifetime or it might not happen in this lifetime or it will happen in a future lifetime.
But the idea of this fight has been in progress or is being here on earth all along, from the very beginning of the creation. So Light and darkness have been fighting ego, and the Essence has been trying to get the attention of the human all along.
Of course, it is intensified now because we can see that even ungodliness is in a greater degree. It is more acceptable to be ungodly than to be godly. Actually, if you are godly, you are shunned, you are looked at as strange that you still believe in God and many people believe that they are God themselves, and they do all the things that God said not to do. And they still think they are God.
Therefore you can see the amount of the going away from God in even a greater degree. We are in an intensified time that the darkness is getting even stronger than Light, but God said it would happen at the end. Actually according to the Scripture in The Revelation, it clearly says that if it was not because of God, the devil or that darkness would destroy the Light completely.
But after this Revelation came, the beast in The Revelation gets stronger and more powerful, but it is desperate. It is a desperate attempt of the darkness to destroy the Light at this time. It will not succeed, although it sounds like it is winning.
It sounds like the darkness is winning. The darkness is more powerful. You are more accepted in the society if you are not following God. How many things did God say not to do, and they are doing it and it is acceptable. Actually it is politically incorrect if you do not accept what they said is correct, instead of society.
And of course, the weak-minded fall for it and nobody says anything against it because that is not politically correct. But if you are Godly and you know the Scriptures, you know God said these things are not going to last forever, they will lose at the end, and that is where we are heading.
So there are two ways to look at it. One is that the fight has been on from the very beginning to this point, but God said at this point that it is going to be intensified and then, of course, the last battle and for 1,000 years of the Godliness and then, of course, reaching Pure Consciousness. That is one way it is revealed and also looking at this time, which will be intensified in a greater degree. [reading text]
Question [text]: Are you the last Prophet, or will there be other Gurus/Saints to help human beings?
Maitreya: “Are you the last Prophet…” [smiles]. Yes, that is right.
“…Will there be other Gurus/Saints…?” Yes, there will be Saints. There will be great teachers, there might even be other Prophets to come but what they will do is maybe they will emphasize the Teachings. That is why being a part of it in a greater degree for that period of time with what needs to be emphasized. There will be Saints and great spiritual teachers but their teachings and understandings will be based on THOTH and our Revelation.
They will not bring anything new. There is nothing that has not been said or not been brought to humanity with this Revelation. [reading text]
Question [text]: Actually I do not know the difference between a Prophet and a Guru/Saint.
Maitreya: Well, a Prophet usually has been prophesied to come. It will be foretold that such a Prophet, such a Figure, such a Manifestation will come on earth. It is much rarer for a Prophet, who is also called “Christ” or “Messiah,” to come. They are all the same thing, Prophet, Messiah, Christ, Anointed One, to come, and a Prophet does not just “pop-up” unless they have a very limited mission, just like Jonah.
Jonah’s mission was just to go and tell that city to become Godly, and actually he was the only Prophet that people listened to. So, unless he is very limited, usually Prophets have to fulfill the prophecies to make it different between a Prophet or a Messiah, and a regular spiritual teacher.
A Guru usually is the word we use in India for the spiritual teacher and they become your guidance, your god, and they are supposed to connect you to God but many of them, unfortunately like all the teachers in every religion, they connect you to themselves. When a teacher connects you to him or herself, that is a false teacher and they are not taking you to God but they are on an ego trip and they are in the way to God.
So Saints are the people who have recognized or realized God. That is another word that is used mostly in Christianity that those are the people who have had an experience with Christ in a mystical way, not just believing in a dogmatic Christianity, and some of them have even manifested some miracles and all that.
That is a personal experience they had with God. When you have a personal experience, of course, that is greater than intellectually wanting to teach God to other people. If the spiritual teaching is very limited, still it is going to take you, not to God, but to analyzing God. The only way to really know God is a direct experience that you have.
If an experience, if a Guru, if a Prophet, if a Teacher, if a Messiah does not take you to God directly and encourages you to experience God, then they are not a true teacher. [reading text]
Still [text]: I want to go to India, my motherland, and find a guru when I mature.
Maitreya: Well, you do not have to do that any longer, because if you know this Teaching, meditate, and follow the Eternal Divine Path, and the teaching about meditation that you can actually learn the meditation process that … How old are you, anyway, Still? [reads text]
Still [text]: Twenty-seven.
Maitreya: Oh, OK. You said, “when I mature,” I thought maybe you are ten or twelve years old. Being twenty-seven years old means you can go to the room in PalTalk that we have, “Meditate on the Universal Mantra.”
[reads text] So you are a Leo then, OK. If you go to our other room, “Meditate on the Universal Mantra,” there is a process that has been given out. [reading text]
Comment [text]: I think mentally I understood.
Maitreya: Alright, that makes sense. A lot of humans are still growing and maturing. So that is OK. But you do not have to go to India any more. India actually should come to us. India should learn the Eternal Divine Path. India should realize that Moslems and Hindus have received Revelation from God, and their God is the same God. There are not as many gods …
The problem with Hinduism, of course, is that they have created so many gods that Buddha even objected to that, and that is why Buddha brought Buddhism. He just had enough of so many gods that everybody was pulling to different directions and creating separation between different humans and humans.
There is only One God. There are as many of those gods that they have in India that are different manifestations of the same god, and they have to realize that God has sent Islam, God has sent Christianity, God has sent Judaism, and all those people in India do not have to kill themselves because they are Hindu and Moslem and they are at each other’s throat to destroy one another.
Actually India can benefit greatly from our Teaching. If you go to India, go there to preach our Teaching. [reads text]
Bliss [text]: I think consciousness is very interesting.
Maitreya: Yes, it is. Consciousness is the Essence, actually. When the creative forces are absolutely in a state of equilibrium or balance, consciousness is the only thing left and you are in the absolute awareness without even trying to think or do. And that awareness is universal, awareness of everything at the same time.
So, you really do not need to go to India for that. Nobody needs any religion after this Revelation. All other religions are done and they are put away, and every religion should come and recognize and realize this truth, and become One with It so we can create the unity.
Then we can have free courses all over the world by those who have experienced God and can make you also experience God, and they take you to God directly. The greatest, of course, experience of God is to become a pure channel for these actions. [reading text]
Question [text]: Have you given all your Teachings, or is there more to come from you?
Maitreya: Well, of course, many times I have felt that I have given everything but new things pop up in the Mission. At this point I feel that everything has been given. It is done, it is perfect, it is complete. And that is why this conversation room was started. So far I was giving lectures about questions people had. People would ask the question and I would explain to them.
Now I am trying to let them go and study the Teaching, and then come here and discuss them with me in a deeper level so they understand the Teaching in a greater degree. [reading text]
Question [text]: What does “THOTH” mean?
Maitreya: “THOTH” is an acronym for “The Holiest Of The Holies.” I know there is another Thoth, an Egyptian god that has the same name. Well, you can say that there might be some relationship between that because he was also the teacher of the truth. Probably he also taught them the Eternal Divine Path and he was a person actually who became the king of the Egyptians and those areas for a long time.
Also it might have some relationship there. That is not the most important thing. The most important thing is The Holiest Of The Holies (THOTH), The Last Testament. As it says clearly, there is no other Scripture that clearly says that “I am the last one.” [reading text]
Question [text]: Maitreya, have you heard of the spiritual teacher Krishnamurti? I have learned a lot about myself through him.
Maitreya: Yes, I have heard about Krishnamurti. Actually he was groomed to be Maitreya by an organization called The Theosophical Society, and they groomed him to be Maitreya, because Buddhists and Hindus are waiting for Maitreya to come and he realized that he is not Maitreya, therefore he refused to accept the position and of course, he was shunned after he did that. He came to New York, and he lived there and wrote many books.
I have heard about him. I have not studied much about his teaching, but what I have heard and seen has a lot of truth, but it is too intellectual. Again he is trying to explain God in an intellectual way. [reads text]
Comment [text]: It was an organization that he was the Maitreya himself, but he …
Maitreya: Exactly, you mean that he dismantled the thing, yes.
