Conversations with Maitreya
09/20/2003
Maitreya: Good morning everyone. Welcome to the Mission of Maitreya. As usual, we are going to talk about the Mission of Maitreya. I am very much hoping that everyone is familiar with the Mission’s teachings and come to this room and have some conversation, talk together, and realize how wonderful this Revelation is and how much humanity really needs it.
I know there are not a lot of people responding to it at this time, but God said that He will bring the Kingdom, and He will. So we should not be attached to the number of people who come to the Mission or are in the Mission. According to God’s Revelation, there is a period that this Revelation or the teaching will come as the Thief of the Night. And then is a period that we will succeed to establish the Kingdom Of Heaven On Earth.
So there is a possibility that God is talking about two or more reincarnations before these things are all established on earth. The most important thing for us is to realize that God indeed has sent this Revelation to humanity and has fulfilled the prophecies of the coming of the Seventh Angel, the Revelation of the Seven Seals, and the Book that was Sealed with the Seven Seals.
If we have this realization and have seen the Vision, we have a very good grip of the reality of God’s Plan and life. What is greater than knowing that The Goal of the Life is to Be(come) Divine, to reach God? That is why you have been born, that is why this universe has been created, and that is what we have to work towards: To be(come) Divine, to be(come) One with God.
If we have that truth and understanding, our grip on the reality is better than 99% of humans that they think the goal of the life is to accumulate wealth and material things, and live an unaware life and be hanging onto things that are temporary. And they still think they have a better grip of the reality than those who go to God or toward God.
So we can see that this world is upside down. Those who have the greatest grip on the reality are shunned by the majority who are in the delusion of this world and Maya, therefore they have to recognize that the goal of their lives is also to become Divine.
That is why we have come to this world, to this earth, to recognize ourselves and realize why we have been born. We have been born for a Mission. Every person has been born for this Mission, to become Divine, and, of course, the fastest way to become Divine is to follow the Eternal Divine Path.
Welcome any newcomers to our room. This is the conversation room of the Mission of Maitreya. On Saturdays at 10 AM, every Saturday, I will be here. I am Maitreya Himself, and I will be here explaining our teachings and encouraging everybody to go to our website and study our teachings, and then come here and discuss about these teachings.
Of course, these sessions should be polite, should be right to the point, should be very articulate, and we are here to discuss together, talk to each other, be nice and polite to one another, and see how this Revelation has unified all religions of the world, how it explains the creation and history, how it reveals the system which brings the peace and unity to humanity, how it encourages people to read all the Scriptures on the earth, and how each Scripture in each religion is a part of a greater truth.
This greater truth is the Revelation of the Seven Seals which is called The Holiest Of The Holies (THOTH), The Last Testament. The acronym for The Holiest Of The Holies is THOTH. It has nothing to do with the Thoth in Egyptian theology, but it teaches that each religion of the world to this point has been sent as a part of a greater truth. God sent it piecemeal to humanity and each group of people who are following those religions think they have the whole truth.
But of course, God says clearly in The Revelation, chapter 10, verse 7, God will be a mystery until the Seventh Angel comes. So if God is a mystery until the Seventh Angel comes, how can anyone have the whole truth until the last Revelation, which comes with the Seventh Angel and who will open the Book Sealed with the Seven Seals?
That is what humanity has to understand to this point, each religion has only a part of the whole, therefore none of them could claim that they have the whole truth. The whole truth will only be revealed to humanity with the Revelation of the Seven Seals and the coming of the Seventh Angel.
If we can make humanity to see God’s Plan so clearly revealed in His Scriptures, although many people have tried to change the Scriptures and have succeeded to a point, but they did not succeed to change the whole thing. There is still enough truth left that we can come and bring it to humanity and explain what God was doing.
God was sending this Revelation separately, and each religious people on earth, Moslems, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, Jews, whoever, think they have the whole truth. But God says, I am a mystery, in my revelations, in my world, in my work, my Plan, is a mystery until the Seventh Angel comes.
Now, we have to find out who is the Seventh Angel? Who has revealed the whole mystery of God? If we find Him, then we will see if He has fulfilled the prophecies, if He brought a Scripture from God to humanity, if He has revealed the Plan of God and promises that He gave to humanity all through the last 12,000 years, and fulfilled them and explained the truth of God in a clear way.
Then we accept such a being as the manifestation of the Seventh Angel. Then we will be able to have a great and deep understanding in the truth of God’s Plan. So, we have to go, search, and understand this teaching, and realize that, “Yes, it is the Revelation of the Seventh Angel, the Seven Seals,” and therefore we know that we have reached the end of the Revelations from God, the truth has been revealed to humanity, and there is no mystery left.
If we can understand that and make humanity to also understand, then we can make humanity to come together and say, “Yes, there is only One God, He sent all these revelations, he sent them the way He sent them,” and eventually realize that we have to come together. If they want to go back to God, of course they can keep their ego and not come and join us and oppose us or be rude, and no matter how much we tell them and they do not listen, then, we, of course, leave them to God.
But those who are ready for this Revelation and can see this Vision and understand that God is One, and there is only One Revealer of all this truth, then they will also come, create the Communities of Light, will sacrifice for it, will know themselves, will surrender and submit to God, and become a universalist. Then eventually we will have a peaceful earth where everyone realizes from the childhood that the goal of their life is to become Divine. The goal of the life is to reach Pure Consciousness or God.
Again, this is the Mission of Maitreya’s Conversation Room. If you have gone to our website and you have read our teaching, and you would like to discuss in a very mature manner with me about these teachings, you are welcome to either type your questions in text or raise your hand and then after you have the mic, you can talk to me about what we teach here and how all the religions of the world are unified.
The Revelation of the Seven Seals is what is called the Eternal Divine Path. The Eternal Divine Path is the path that consists of five steps and two results.
The first part of the Eternal Divine Path is to awaken your spiritual forces, know thyself, know who you are. You and the Father are One. God is everything. There is nothing which is not God. Therefore you have to recognize that Essence in you and realize that God indeed is always with you and is present in everybody.
That part of the teaching has been revealed to the people who follow the Mystical Paths. Their religion at least teaches them that you have to have an experience with God and realize that the self and God, the atman and the Atman, Hoda and Hod, God and you are One. This is the teaching of all mystical religions. Even the organized religions have these Mystical Paths.
It is just like in Islam, the Sufis teach that you have to become the lover of God. You have to love God so much that nothing else is left for you but God alone. Of course, that is the path of Bhakti Yoga, to love God with all your heart, mind, and spirit. In Christianity, we have had a lot of saints, and the saints, of course, are the mystics. They have had an experience with God, and therefore they can come to humanity and say, “Yes, God is great,” and they manifest the qualities of God.
This path, of course, covers Hinduism, Buddhism, Cabala, saints of the Christian religion, Sufis, and any other teaching that the base of it is to meditate, awaken your spiritual forces, and all that. And this is the beginning. A lot of those religions think that is the end of it, “if I meditate, eventually like a drop of water or a drop of self I am going to fall into the ocean of God consciousness and become One with God.” They take their path, their religion, as the end. There is no further thing to know.
The Judeo-Christian-Islamic and Baha’i teachings are very strange to them. They accept them as the people who were good people or were like Krishna or like Shiva who came and brought some Light to humanity but they did not accept him as the Messiah, as a very unique manifestation. Even Krishna is not really called “Messiah,” he is called the “manifestation of God,” which is a little different than the Messiah which is the Spirit of God on earth. And we can see that they have to realize there is more revelation than their mystical teachings, and instead of following all the gurus and teachers and Avatars and all that, they should realize and seek the Messiahs and the great teachers that God prophesied which would come from the tribe of Judah, all through history to this point.
Therefore, after Hinduism and Buddhism and all that, there is another plan that God has been fulfilling through the Tribe of Judah to this point. If they recognize that, of course, they will expand themselves to the next step, which is the creation of the Communities of Light.
So, go ahead, meditate, awaken your spiritual forces, but then, direct that energy you have created in your meditation and all that toward the creation of the Communities of Light.
Communities of Light are the communities that have been explained and revealed to humanity in the Old Testament. The whole Old Testament is about God was trying to choose a people who will create the 12 tribes of Israel, who will accept God as their king, who will bring the laws of God into the community. Therefore, the community becomes a Community of Light, a community of God, a community based on God, His Plan and laws, His Words, His Scriptures, and everything that is given to humanity.
The next step in the Eternal Divine Path is to create the Communities of Light, and that, of course, is the Old Testament, the Hebrews. Therefore, the Eternal Divine Path also includes the Hebrews and Jews and the teaching of the Old Testament. At the time of Abraham or Abram, God selected him or elected him or chose him or Blessed him and told him when his name was Abram and his son was Ishmael, that, Abram, I am going to give a great territory to your children, and I will bring a Prophet or scepter to you, Abram. At that time, his child was Ishmael and this prophecy was for Ishmael.
Then, later on He changed the name of Abram to Abraham, and He changed his wife’s name from Sarai to Sarah. “Abram” means the father of one nation, and “Abraham” means the father of many nations. Sarai means “princess” and Sarah means “our princess” of many people.
Then He said to Abraham that, You are going to have a child by the name of Isaac when he is 99 years old and his wife is 90. And Abraham laughed, he was thinking himself, Well, that is not going to happen, I am too old for this.
God, of course, knew his heart. God knows everybody’s heart, and no one can escape but to look at their heart, clean it, and become the heart of God as gold. Many of us really have to meditate on our hearts and clean them, and let God come through, then our heart becomes God’s heart, so we can manifest the beauty, the compassion, the understanding, the love that He has for us.
And God said, Do not laugh. I am God. I can do whatever I want. You will have a child in a year. Apparently even Abraham did not understand the whole Plan of God because his name was Abram and He gave those Blessings to him, for Ishmael, and then He changed his name and gave the Blessings for Isaac who had not been born. Abram did not even believe it was going to happen and Abram said, How about if we just replace it all to Ishmael and forget about a child and all that?
God said, I have already Blessed Ishmael, and his Blessing was when He gave the promises to Abram. So, in a year, Sarah did have a child by the name of Isaac, as God commanded him to call him Isaac. And God carried His promises to the Children of Israel.
The children of Isaac were Esau and Jacob, who became Israel later. And both Blessings of the material possession and the scepter were supposed to go to Esau, the first born. But Esau sold his birthright to Jacob and he sold it very cheaply for some pottage, for food. After that, He lost that privilege.
Also, Jacob received the Blessings of his father which is the scepter, and he became the sole owner of the promises of God. So Jacob became the carrying of the promises of God. However, in his lifetime, he almost lost everything. There was famine and all that. You know the story of Joseph and how they got to Egypt and eventually he adopted Joseph’s sons as his own sons, and when he was dying, he separated the scepter from the material possession. Both children were adopted as his children because one of his sons did a great sin so he disowned him. So he adopted both children and later one of them replaced Joseph himself, and the other one replaced the other child who had defiled his bed.
So we can see then Jacob became Israel, and eventually King David came and fulfilled the promise that he will be king for ever and ever. Everybody was expecting that the Messiah would come from that lineage, and Christ came as that Messiah and brought the teaching of the New Testament.
So we can see that up to this point, the Old Testament is the struggle of God through the human to create the Kingdom within their community. If a community puts God out of everything in their lives, as many nations and people have done and are doing, they will go toward destruction, wars, fears, etc. What is this fear that has gripped humanity of destruction, of death, of terrorism, of domination, of struggle between nations and cultures.
They have put God out of it. Each of us have created our own cultures, and we have become separated with some little differences. It is just like that story about some people put the butter on the top of their bread, and some people put it underneath. And then they end up with the nuclear war and destruction, because those who put the butter on the top of the bread think they know better than those who put the butter on the bottom of the bread.
That is exactly what is happening here on earth. Our differences are very, very little. I have lived in the East, and I have lived in the West, half of my life in each part. So I have lived in both of them, there is not much of a difference. The differences are very, very little.
But if you can bring the Culture of God, and everybody accepts that, then we have a different culture, and the separation and destruction that is coming to humanity, we can see even in that, we will unify humanity and we will bring peace between them.
If our culture is going to change the culture of the rest of the world to the way we live, or if our culture really is preferable, are we doing everything Godly that we expect everybody else to come and follow us? If not, then why are we trying to change them, or will they change, or, are they going to fight tooth and nail and will not change?
In the process, eventually everybody will reach a point where they realize that war, destruction, and all this is not going to solve the problem. The only thing which will solve the problem is God, and as He promised, His Kingdom will come.
So we can see the next step in the Eternal Divine Path is the Communities of Light, creation of the Communities of Light in the Old Testament.
And of course, Christ came and he taught sacrifice. He taught that God and your ideal is the greatest asset you have in your life. Your greatest asset is not your SUV, your big house, your great job, or money, or possession, or anything that is external, but your greatest possession is, How much did you progress in this lifetime toward becoming Divine?
Go ahead, Anita, post your question in text. Well Anita, I suppose you are a Moslem because Anita is an Islamic name. Go ahead if you want to take the mic [pause, quiet]. OK Anita, it sounds like that was not what you meant to do. If you still want to have the mic, again raise your hand intentionally. Apparently that was unintentional.
So Christ came and brought the sacrifice. He went all the way to the cross for his ideal, and that is his main goal and main mission when he came to humanity. In order to create the Communities of Light that the Old Testament has taught us, first of all, if you do not meditate, if you do not awaken your spiritual forces, if you do not calm your mind, if you do not let the Spirit come through you, you cannot create the Communities of Light.
You might marry and have children or grow up or bring many children in your life and die, or maybe even the Community participates in it, being in the Communities of Light, you have to awaken your spiritual forces and let God come through you so can help the Community in a greater degree.
So the first step in the creation of the Communities of Light, is to meditate, awaken your spiritual forces, and know thyself. Then, of course, the second step is the creation of the Communities of Light. The essence of the Old Testament is to create the Communities based on God and His Laws.
The message of Christ was, of course, sacrifice. You cannot create Communities of Light without sacrificing. You cannot create Communities of Light if everybody in the Communities of Light say, “What is in it for me?” and be selfish, self-centered and they only thing they love is themselves, not the Community, or they are not a part of the Community or they do not want to be a part of the Community, or they feel it is hard to be a part of the Community.
The more people join the Communities of Light, the easier it is to come. Actually, after the Communities of Light are created, it becomes much, much easier, because there is so much cooperation, help, and love in the Community that all levels of human needs, physiological, safety, psychological, everything that human longs for really will be satisfied in the Communities of Light. I mean real Communities of Light, not just a community, not just a couple of people who come together and they think they have the Communities of Light.
The Community of Light is a community where people really, deeply meditate and become One. So you meditate, then you bring God’s Spirit into the community and then sacrifice is the message of Christ who came and was crucified for his ideal. Before he was crucified, of course, he told the Jews that the Kingdom will be taken away from them and given to another nation.
Christ himself never really became a king or anything that you can see he created a nation by himself. Of course, his teaching eventually did create nations that followed his teaching and eventually Rome changed many things in his teaching and made it easier and, according to human understanding, better. But he meant really another Prophet, another people who will come and bring another kingdom and laws, and that.
That prophecy was for Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad also was promised with Abraham. Abram, when Abraham’s name was Abram, God also promised him that he would have children that would increase and then the number will become the number of stars and they will have a great territory.
If that promise was for Jews, their number is not the number of the stars. There are only 12 million of them. But that was for a nation that spread all the way from Saudia Arabia to North Africa, to Spain and eventually to South America. And see, their numbers are really millions and millions of people.
So, at the time before the crucifixion of Christ, in the garden of Gethsemane, Christ really did not want to go to the cross. Who wants to? Who really wants to go to the cross, being nailed at the top of the cross, leaving you there hanging and thirsty, and the sun and heat and hunger and pain, and all that? That is terrible. So he did not want to go, so he said, God, can you take this cup away from me? He was not completely surrendered and submitted at that time. He still really did not want to do it. But he immediately realized what he was doing and said, No, God, your will be done, and he became surrendered and submitted to God in that moment.
That is why when he came as Prophet Muhammad, he brought the teaching of surrendering and submission to God. That is the message of Islam, to be surrendered and submitted to God and His Will for us and for humanity.
Therefore, Christ prophesied and foretold many times that there will be another Prophet who will come after him, and of course, he came himself as all of them. So Prophet Muhammad also came as prophesied, as promised, as foretold by God to Abram that he will come as another Messenger to humanity.
He came and he received the message of surrendering and submission to God. That is the highest spiritual realization for humanity. If you are surrendered and submitted to God, therefore that means that you are following God’s Will. It means your spirit and God’s Spirit are One. It means you let God come through all the time, and that is the highest spiritual achievement.
If you let the Spirit of God come through completely, then you know you and the Father, God, are One. Therefore you can help the community to become the Communities of Light. You do not mind sacrificing, and if you keep your body, you will keep it in a good shape so you can help humanity and your community to grow and become a Community of Light.
Therefore you can see that in this Eternal Divine Path, it is all related. You cannot take one of them out and say, No, you do not need this part. You have to know thyself. You have to make it. You have to awaken the spiritual forces. Then, you have to either create the Communities of Light or join a Community of Light.
You cannot create a Community of Light without sacrifice and eventually surrendering and submitting to God, and also knowing about this wonderful Plan, the Revelation and promises and the things that God has given to humanity to this point. Now He is revealing everything for man to recognize and realize, first, God exists!
It might be amazing to many people that God really exists. He promised these things, and He fulfilled them. Therefore, He exists. If someone promises and He carries it out, you cannot say, “No, He does not exist.” He has to exist in order to come and fulfill them. Therefore, the first recognizing for humanity is to truly believe and understand through our teachings, God exists!
If God exists and He has sent the Scriptures, therefore, those are His Words. If He promises and He fulfills them, He is an able God. All these things tell humanity that their salvation, their peace, the unity, is only possible by following God’s Words, because He created this universe. He knows better than anybody how it works.
It is just like a person who built a car. Who knows better than that person or the manufacturer of that car how it works, what kind of oil is the best to put in the engine, what kind of gas to use, what kind of road it can handle, and all that. God created this universe, God created man, not the essence of man but the human body. Now, He knows better than anyone else how it works, and He sent his Words through His Prophets.
Again, we have to make humanity and all those who say, “God does not exist, I can do whatever I want, I do not have to listen to anybody,” we have to make them realize that God exists and He is an able God. He has sent His Words through His Prophets and now this Revelation is the ultimate or ultimatum to humanity, “Hey, I exist! I did promise Abram these things, I did promise Christ would come. I did promise Prophet Muhammad will come. I did promise Bab and Baha’u’llah would come. I did promise that Maitreya would come. I fulfilled them. Now, are you going to do whatever you want, or are you going to listen to Me? If you are going to do whatever you want, you are not going to go where I want to take you.”
So, again, our teaching is giving humanity more assurance, more understanding about God’s Plan and He makes it very, very clear that God exists and He fulfills His Plan in His own way. It is not my understanding. It is not my will. It is not my wants, but what God wants.
God wants what is in His Scriptures, what are His Words, how He promised these things and He fulfilled them. What does that mean, that God will send a Prophet or a Messiah or a Manifestation? Does He really send Him as a guru or an Avatar, and this and that, and anybody can come and say, “Hey, I am an Avatar, and I fulfilled one or two prophecies, or half-fulfilled prophecies? And I can twist those prophecies to fit me?”
Then you can see that the Word of God will help them to recognize that the only place that they can find the truth is in the Scriptures.
So Prophet Muhammad brought the surrendering and submission to God. The awakening of the spiritual forces is the Mystical Paths, all the Mystical Paths, Hinduism, Buddhism, and all that. The next step is to create the Communities of Light. That is what the Hindus, Buddhists, and Sufis have to recognize that they have to get engaged in the Community and improve it and bring God to their Community.
Now, with all this realization and progress, you reach a point that you now let God come through. In the next step you realize that God is everything. If you really have an experience with God, then you realize that God is everything. With that recognition, you have no choice but to realize that you belong to the universe. You do not belong to any narrow community, any narrow nation, any narrow language, or race or gender. But you have to expand your mind and become a Universalist and recognize and realize that there is only One God who has sent this Revelation to humanity, and that is the message of Bab and Baha’u’llah and the Baha’i teaching.
OK, there is a question.
Angel [typed]: Wow, about the point that Jesus died on the cross, and then you say that Muhammad came after and said, He did not die, does not make sense to me.
Maitreya: Well, you can take that word in two ways. It is not only Prophet Muhammad who said He really did not die on the cross, but also the Rosicrucians believe that he did not die and actually lived to a very old age and during that time he guided his children.
You also can take the words of Prophet Muhammad as he did not die, nobody dies. We all leave our bodies and then we take another body and we return to our lives, and especially Christ, who was the Son of God or the First Begotten Son of God, will return to the bosom of the Father and you really do not die in a sense of the end of everything for him.
So there is some controversy about if really Christ died or not.
Angel [typed]: It says in the Koran that there was a likeness put on the cross. In the Hadith it says that Judas was the man who was put on the cross. Why would God put another man on the cross?
Maitreya: Well, where in the Koran does it say that they put Judas instead of Christ on the cross? … It doesn’t say it was “the likeness of Christ.” It says, “It seems to them that he died.”
The Hadiths are quoted from so many people from all over the Arabic world, and many people have said many things that Prophet Muhammad has said that he had not. And then, of course, they realize that there are so many people saying those things and they discredit many of the Hadiths, and they try to purify them and just accept those that it seems to them to be correct.
Angel [typed]: In the Koran it says there was a likeness put on the cross.
Maitreya: OK, where in the Koran does it say that, that a “likeness” was put on the cross. Can you tell us the verse and the Surah, what Surah and verse it was?
So, you can look at the Word of God and Prophet Muhammad in a deeper level. It says that he did not die. Does it mean that he did not die at all, he was not crucified? If he meant that, of course, there are other groups that also believe the same thing, that is not that unusual. He said that it does not really matter. That is a part of the Christian teaching that is important, that he was crucified.
Of course, it is important in the sense that he fulfilled and he went to the cross and he sacrificed for his mission. But what is important is, what did he say? What was his teaching? What was his message? What was Christ’s message?
If we understand that, if we want to understand the message of Christ and understand what his mission was, the rest is really unimportant. It does not matter. The most important thing is the message of the messenger, and the message itself is important because he is a representative of God on earth and he had the Spirit of God behind him.
So, in the Koran it says that “it seems to them that Christ died,” and that is open to interpretation.
Angel [typed]: 4:57.
Maitreya: 4:57? Can someone quote exactly that verse for us, so we can discuss it in a greater degree? OK, it should be in “Women” verse 57. If someone can find that verse for us, that would be great, and if somebody wants to read the verse, can you type it for us?
[reading from text] “… proclaiming that they killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of God. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him, they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge, they only….”
Where does this say that they put someone else besides Christ on the cross? That was your point. That point is not there, and that is what I told you already. There is not such a thing in the Koran that it says they put someone else on the cross. That is a misinterpretation of the people who read these words and to strengthen their belief. Now they say it is in the Hadiths. There is no Hadith that says anything even close to putting someone else instead of Christ on the cross.
So, we can see that, in that verse it says that it seems to appear to them that they crucified and killed him.
Angel [typed]: But killed him, not crucified him. The resemblance of Jesus was …
Maitreya: Where? Where in that verse does it say that, Angel? There is not such a thing in that verse that there was a “resemblance of Christ” on the cross. I read it in the Koran, and you are having it right there on the screen. Where does it say there was a resemblance put …
Angel [typed]: It says clearly that Christ was crucified but he did not die on the cross. That is what it says, and claiming that the Messiah Jesus …
Maitreya: Actually his name never was Jesus, if you read the Koran it should be Esa.
Angel [typed] … son of Mary, the Messenger of God, in fact they never killed him. They never crucified him, they were made to think that they did …
Maitreya: It means, yes, he was put on the cross. But the crucifixion was not fulfilled, because in this verse he says he did not die. Does it mean that he did not die and he … after Christ, or he is the Messiah? He is the son of God, he is the First Begotten Son, so he does not die.
His Spirit goes to God, therefore, they did not kill him.
I have another Koran, The Glorious Koran, and let’s look at what you said here, “…and because of their saying they slew the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, Allah’s Messenger, they slew him not nor crucified but it appears so unto them.” There is not such a thing as a “resemblance.” It appeared to the people that they really killed him. But in reality you cannot kill anybody because the essence lives on.
So there is not such a thing in the Koran that it says they put someone else up there and crucified him. Therefore, you can ask, what did Prophet Muhammad really mean with that sentence? Well, I do not think he meant what most Moslems believe what he meant. He meant that you cannot kill anybody, especially not the First Begotten Son of God.
So we can see that there is still a lot of misinterpretation from the Word of God out there, and those who really want to know the truth, you have to look in a deeper level. You cannot find the truth in your culture. You cannot find the truth in the preacher and mullahs and rabbis and brahmins or anybody.
You can only find the truth in the Word of God, in the Scriptures, and you cannot understand the Scriptures until you understand The Holiest of the Holies (THOTH), The Last Testament. If you understand this Revelation that has come to humanity now, then you can understand the teachings in a greater degree.
First of all, there is not such a thing in the Koran that they put someone else up there. Still, if it is a point of contention and disagreement, as it has been instructed in our Scriptures, it does not matter. The most important thing is, what did Christ say? What was his message? He was a Messenger of God. He was the Messiah, and he came to bring something to humanity. Why does the Messiah come, why does the Messenger come?
They come to bring the message of God, to bring a Scripture to humanity. So that is important. Was he crucified or was he not crucified? Did he die on the cross? Did he rise the third day? Did he live on? OK, all these things also are important to a point, but in the final analysis, the most important thing is, what did he say?
We know God promised Abraham that He will send a Messiah to his son, Isaac. That is for sure. We know that Christ fulfilled those prophecies and he was from the tribe of Judah. So it does not matter if “Jesus” did on the cross or not. It is important to a point that he said that he was going to stay in the womb of the earth for three days and three nights, and that was the only sign he gave for his legitimacy as a Prophet or a Messiah. But did he die? Did he survive?
Maybe he did stay in a cave for three days and three nights, but the Romans did not completely finish with him, and he woke up or he was in trouble. Maybe he got out of the cave and lived a long time after. Of course, the Bible, because they knew that such a philosophy existed, they added to the Bible that, “Yes, he surely died because they pierced him with a spear to make sure that, yes, he is dead.”
So the Bible wants to make it very clear to the Jews, Christians, and the followers that, “Yes, he was really dead when they took him off the cross.” But did they change the Bible and later added these words to the New Testament? So we can see that there are a lot of controversial things here, and that is when the controversy comes to this point of contention and disagreement. In the Mission of Maitreya, we say it does not matter. We are not going to get to that argument because it is not important.
The most important thing for the Messenger, Messiah, Christ is to come to humanity and bring the message. What was the message of Christ? Why did he come to humanity? Why did God send him to humanity as the Messiah? That is where we have to understand God’s Plan. God promised Abraham and Abram. God said that Prophet Muhammad was going to come. If you do not want to accept that, then you are not seeing the Plan of God. You are missing big in what God was doing to this point.
Of course, you can come here and say, “Jesus is the only way,” and all that, that is OK. We have had hundreds and thousands of people who came and did the same thing. But the most important thing is, is it really true? First of all, his name was not even Jesus, and you all are saved by his name. How can you be saved then, if you have a wrong name? If his name never was Jesus and you are saved by his name, and you do not know his name and you think you are saved, hey, you are in delusion.
Wake up! Read God’s Revelation and His Words and see what He did say He is going to do.
Comment [in text]: You cannot kill the Divine nature of the Christ.
Maitreya: Exactly. Muhammad meant that. Muhammad meant, Yes, you cannot kill the person God sent. You cannot kill anybody as the Bhavagad-Gita clearly says, He who kills thinks he killed somebody and the one who was killed, cannot be killed, and both are in ignorance. Both are incorrect, because you neither can kill and no one can be killed because your essence is God.
Did Prophet Muhammad say that as this meaning, or maybe Christ did not really die on the cross and he just fainted or almost died or whatever, they took him off and put him in the cave, and then three days later eventually he came to consciousness and woke up, or his disciples found him, and him and rescued him, and took care of him, and eventually he was OK.
Either way, it does not matter, or he had to die. According to Scripture, he had to die for sure, therefore he could rise, so he was crucified and rose, so he was unique among the Prophets, and “he is the only one who rose,” but what do you say about God’s revelation that He Blessed both, Abram and Abraham, and his children, that they will have the scepter or the Messiah-ship, and they will have a great prophecy. He promised both of them were going to have a Messenger coming from them. Prophet Muhammad prophesied that another Prophet will come from his lineage, who was Bab, and on and on.
So we can see … do not become emotional, do not become attached to your religion and culture and what you have been taught with the preachers, even Catholicism, Catholics and the pope and all those. Do not become emotional. Become very logical and understand God’s Plan according to what He said in the Scriptures.
He said clearly there, No one knows the mystery and the truth of God until the Seventh Angel comes. Do Christians know the whole truth? Then we do not need the Seventh Angel to come. That is it! “They know the truth.” Or Moslems, do they know the whole truth?
Angel [typed]: I don’t go by preachers. I read the books.
Maitreya: Great, Angel. And now read THOTH. Go to our website, see the fulfillment of the prophecies and the explanation of the Plan of God so clearly given now to humanity, and then judge correctly. I know, it is alright, we are not criticizing you or putting you down or anything like that. That is your understanding or your Moslem understanding of that verse, which is good, OK.
But I am just giving you another alternative to think about, that it is possible that Prophet Muhammad meant two other possibilities: First, you cannot kill anybody because their soul lives on, or second, he really did not die. But there is nothing in that verse that it says that they put somebody else there instead of him.
I know, the Moslems probably believe that. That is a cultural understanding and somebody just came up with it, and eventually it got rooted in the culture and now it has become a part of it. So we can say that, it is alright, you know, you have been brought up … probably for whatever reason you think that is the explanation of that verse. But I am telling you that I cannot see that there is anything that it says anything like that.
Angel [typed]: Well, my Koran says that.
Maitreya: Where? Where does it say that they put another person instead of Christ on the cross? Where? The verse that you typed, if that is the verse in your Koran that you posted up there, it does not say that, Angel. It does not say that they put another person there. It says, they did not crucify him, they did not kill him. It does not finalize the crucifixion.
Angel [typed]: Actually, a lot more is known now with this book.
Maitreya: OK, so it was not you who posted those verses, and if you have your Koran that has anything like that, why don’t you … OK, where? What version of the Koran are you using? What book, what publisher, who published it, is it in English or is it in Arabic? Where did you get that idea, because my Koran does not say that. In the verses that the other person posted, it is the same verse, it does not say that.
Angel [typed]: I bought the book from a Moslem.
Maitreya: OK. What is the name of the book? Who is the writer? Who is the translator? Maybe the translator translated in a way that he or she wanted to. See, the translation never gives you the whole picture or the truth of a writing in another language. If you really want to know what that verse means, you have to know the Koran and also you should clear your mind from any cultural biases, and then come here and read it. And of course, if you come here and believe I am who I say I am, then that makes it much clearer and easier for you, because I said there is not such a thing in the Koran that Prophet Muhammad did not ever mean that they put another person up there instead of Christ.
Angel [typed]: The Noble Koran, English translation of the meaning and commentary of the Koran.
Maitreya: Well, you have to know Arabic if you really want to know the Koran and what is its meaning. So, yes, I can see the translation you are putting there. Probably a very good Koran that you might buy for a couple of dollars is The Glorious Koran. So you have The Noble Koran in English?
It is called, The Meaning of The Glorious Koran. It is very famous and many people refer to that as the best translation in English. Still, you never can translate anything to another language without losing something in that book. It is just like THOTH, you had some people that tried to translate The Holiest Of The Holies (THOTH) into French, and they do not have “greatest” in French. So we had the question, what word to use instead of The Greatest Sign and “the greatest Revelation?”
We came to the understanding that it cannot be translated the way it is in English. That is why I ask everybody to learn English and therefore they can read THOTH in that language.
OK, Lou, go ahead and ask your question.
Lou: My Koran has a slightly different translation. Can I read that?
Maitreya: Sure, Lou. Go ahead.
Lou: “… Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah, they killed him not or crucified him, only the likeness of that was shown to him…” And I thought “only the likeness was shown to him,” I think that is why Angel thinks that it was somebody else.
Maitreya: OK, that is interesting. That sounds like more of what Angel was saying. So that means that something was lost in translation. I also have the Persian Koran, I can look at it in Persian. Well, I do not have it handy here with me, but I can do it later on to see what that verse exactly says. I have seen and read that verse before, and I think I have read it even in the Persian translation.
None of them really say the way you just read it right now. It sounds like the Koran that you have has brought the interpretation of the person who wrote it into the verses and that does not appear in the original language. I can pretty much say that is not in the Arabic language.
And even in the translation that I have, it says that because of the saying, “We slew the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary” for instance here, you never find “Jesus” in the Arabic language. It was probably translated from “Esa” to “Jesus” for Western consumption and understanding, and the sentence “…they slew him not, nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them.”
“Appeared” is different than putting someone else on the cross instead of Christ. I think in translation or in their understanding of the people who read these verses, they brought the Hadith that they believe that Prophet Muhammad had revealed to his close disciples as they put another person on the cross. But the meaning of those verses “it appeared,” “it appeared to them that he died.”
He might have fainted. He might have not been completely dead. But to them it “appeared” that he was dead, and they took him down and he didn’t die and he was not crucified but continued living. A similar thing is believed by the Rosicrucians, and they also believe that Christ did not die but that he actually lived for a long, long time after the crucifixion and directed his disciples.
So, it can be that meaning, and also “appeared to them,” it appeared to anybody. Anybody who died, they think he is dead and has no life, but as we can see in the Bhavagad-Gita, it clearly says he who thinks he is dead, he who thinks he killed someone, whoever thinks people completely die, they are incorrect. He says, Nobody really dies.
Actually nothing dies in this universe. You can convert things together. You can convert light to heat, and heat to mechanical power, or whatever. But you cannot kill it, you cannot destroy it. You cannot completely destroy anything that is already in the universe.
Anything that is already in the universe, will be in the universe forever. There is nothing that can be destroyed and therefore it will be here forever, and it will be forever. Therefore, he did not die, it just seems to them he died. So I suppose that he meant in that verse translated as “it seems to be” that he has been influenced with the cultural and the teaching of the culture, and they translated it that way.
So I look in a couple of different books, especially when it has been translated to another language. It is always good to look into different books to see how … Even the Bhavagad-Gita, if you read different translations, you can see absolutely the person who translated the Bhavagad-Gita was injecting their own beliefs. If you read the Bhavagad-Gita, the one translated by the Haree Krishna people and their head, it is absolutely different than that translation that is published by Penguin. It is absolutely different and says different things.
Then you might get completely confused, which one is the truth? If you really want to know the truth exactly what the Bhavagad-Gita means, you have to know Sanskrit and go and read the original book. And then you will understand, but then again, you should not have any bias yourself.
Angel [text]: In the Koran it says that he didn’t die.
Maitreya: Yes, OK, that is what we are discussing. That I agree with.
Angel: Both books can be right.
Maitreya: Both books say he didn’t die. He was not crucified. Both books do not say that a likeness of Christ was put on the cross. That is the point of discussion, not that He didn’t die. We were discussing; he didn’t die, it could mean, he didn’t really die on the cross, therefore he was not crucified. OK. [reading text] I see, in the Bible it says he died, and in the Koran it says…
Yes, I see what you mean now. OK, yes, that I agree with. Which one is correct? Now that becomes a controversial point and it brings a lot of discussion and both parties probably will never be satisfied.
That is when I say: It does not matter, OK? The most important thing is why Christ came, what was his message? What were his words? Why did God send him to humanity? These are important, not if he was crucified, or not crucified, was he crucified on the cross or was he crucified on a tree, was he dead when they took him off? Or, wasn’t he dead or did Christ … Prophet Muhammad said, Yes, he died but because he was indestructible, his soul was indestructible, he did not die. Alright. It does not matter! The most important thing is, what did he come to bring to humanity?
Yes, I agree with you, that is a point that makes the controversial discussion between Moslems and Christians, because Christians – he had to die. There is no way, if he did not die, the whole base of Christianity is that he rose and you are saved by that, so “we do not have to do anything. We just believe in the name of Jesus and that is it, we are saved.”
It cannot be … we do not know, how much they say he didn’t die, and he didn’t die, because it might mean that he didn’t die because the soul does not die. And if we take it that way, he died in a sense of the human understanding or it means that he did not die.
We do not know. I am explaining the Koran to you, Angel. Exactly. In the Koran he says he did not die, but what did he mean? That is the point of discussion. And if Prophet Muhammad said he didn’t die, then as the Rosicrucians believe that he lived for a long time, therefore they have the same belief about if he died or not.
Go ahead, Shakti.
Shakti: Thank-you Maitreya-Ji. I have a translation here in my Koran called The Holy Koran and first of all, the message is the most important thing, as you said, the message that Christ brought. What I saw from this verse, I will read it first: “That they said [in bold], we killed Christ Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah, but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but only a likeness of that was shown to them.” So to me it is very clear that it was shown to them that he was crucified. It does not say that there was someone else there, did the “likeness” show he was crucified but what you feel from the teaching that we receive, he went to his Father. So it is how it is interpreted. But from my translation it shows that, yes, they saw he was crucified but indeed he was with his Father. So that is just my sharing on that. Thank you.
Maitreya: Yes, you are correct, Shakti, and also there are many Korans that Angel should go and get other Korans to read. Besides all this discussion, the Koran itself is not completely a book that has not been influenced or was written by the Prophet himself and put into a book and said, ”This is the version, that is the Word of God, go and follow it.”
The Koran itself was written years after Prophet Muhammad, and the verses were gathered from the followers who memorized those verses. When they wanted to gather them, they found out that there were many verses and many of the disciples or followers were saying different things for the same revelation. Actually, eventually there were two versions of the Koran that emerged as the book that many people started following, and there was a great upheaval and disagreement between them. Eventually the Calipha or the leader said, OK, we are just going to accept this one, these verses, and that is it. We will all follow that.
So still you cannot completely trust in everything that is in the Koran that it is completely from the Word of God and they came to the Prophet, and the Prophet put it down on the paper and said, This is the verse and that is exactly what the words are. You have to be very careful that we understand these things on a deeper level so you do not become completely dogmatic about one verse or two verses but open your mind in a greater degree to see the whole picture, to see how God has been sending this Revelation, and no one has the truth until the Seventh Angel comes.
And when He comes, of course, he will reveal to you the truth. And the truth is, it does not really matter, was he crucified, was he not crucified, the most important thing is what was his message, and his message was the message of sacrifice. In the Eternal Divine Path, if you get that and you realize that and you understand that, you have a great grip on the reality of the truth and therefore you will know the Will of God and His Plan in a greater degree.
Alright. Our time is up. There were not too many questions, but that was a very good discussion. The ideas were wonderful. I encourage everybody to go to our website again, read our teaching, realize that no one, not the Messiah, not the teachers, not the rabbis, not the gurus, not the avatars, no one has the whole truth until the Seventh Angel comes.
And now it is here, and the Book Sealed with the Seven Seals is revealed to humanity and it is open to everybody to read, for you to go to our website, download them or read them right there on the screen, and know the Will of God and teach yourself and believe in this and teach humanity, and let them go away from dogmas and emotional destructive forces that have gripped humanity and eventually become logical Light Bodies.
With that, God be with you, and think about these words and Revelation and truth. Go to the website again, read THOTH, and see how wonderful this Revelation is, how true it is, how it explains everything you need to know, overcome your own understanding, go and understand God’s Revelation and Words.
Sal-Om everybody. God be with you. See you next week.
